Broccoli..*

I like it cold, I like it hot, Sometimes I boil it, steam it, or eat it fresh. I love putting it with things, or eatting it off a platter at a gathering when its with its friends. I keep it frozen or buy it fresh. I love to dip it or put cheese on it or just eat it plain. I like it cooked I love it raw. Its extremely good for you, and green...one last hint it looks like a little green tree. Do you know?

Broccoli helps our blood pressure, our nervous system, keeps us protected from the sun, helps our bones, prevents heart disease, eye health, gives us vitamin C, and helps us lose weight.. NO WAY...WAY :)


Not only is this veggie a goldmine when it comes to nutrients it's prevention and help with cancer is amazing. This veggie targets and blocks a defective gene that will lead to cancer. When you are on a detox diet broccoli should be added to your essential daily foods. This food helps protect us from the sun because the nutrients in it are so powerful it allows our body to detoxify and repair itself.


Broccoli will help you lose weight! Not only is it low in carbs and you can eat it with everything or anyway it contains protein, and fibre which will make it so you do not overeat. The fiber in broccoli helps us women with pcos keep a low blood sugar level and helps us avoid overeatting. If you are looking for less carbs and more protein broccoli is the right choice. When comparing it with other foods broccoli has just as much protein as rice but less calories, carbs, and fat. Now that my friends is a winner.

The vitamin C in broccoli will be effective in giving you some relief in symptoms of the common cold this is because it has built up your immune system. Your immune system is not the only system Broccoli helps.. it helps your nervous system to. The potassium in broccoli allows you to be able to experience regular muscle growth and keeps our brains functioning properlly as we age. The Vitamin K and calcium in Broccoli helps our bones, and prevents us from getting osteoporosis.

Remember with green veggies especially carbs do not affect our no carb/low carb diet because the carb count in these veggies is broke down into dietary fibre, starch, and sugar. There usually is no starch is dark green leafy veggies such as broccoli and the sugar count when you look at it that way is barely nothing. Vegetable such as Broccoli do more good for us than bad. 


You can begin to heal your PCOS with superfoods such as broccoli. When it comes to losing weight this is one of the right foods to eat daily with PCOS. The way it reduces are heart disease chances is also very amazing. Lowers our blood sugar which will help with insulin resistance. If you are a cyster chosing to follow the GI food index broccoli makes that list aswell because it is a low GI food. To keep all broccolis nutrients and vitamins at there highest eat it raw or steam it for a very short period of time.
